Two TLSs, both signed, “J. Edgar Hoover,” both one page, 8 x 10.25, on FBI letterhead. One letter from 1960 congratulates an employee with the Bureau celebrating his 25th anniversary, earning the Twenty-Five-Year Service Award Key from Hoover. The second letter, dated 1935 is to a congressman about a constituent attempting to find a job as a messenger with the FBI, and Hoover stating there are no openings at the present time. That letter is stapled to a letter from the congressman to the gentleman forwarding Hoover’s letter. Punch holes to left edge of 1936 letter, as well as a staple, otherwise fine condition.
