Penney writes to a collector, in part: “I am more than pleased to comply with your request and am herewith enclosing my picture. It was very interesting to learn that you live in the home town of Mr. Cecil L. Wright, the Penney Company’s new president…Mr. Wright is one of the most highly regarded executives in the retailing field.” Binder dings to photo, as well as some light signature contrast, otherwise fine condition.
