The lettering is done in gold, with a deep blue color applied to create a raised shadow effect. Also on the right is a gold and silver design of a snake climbing a tree, set on a blue filled and gold bordered shield. Etched and gold accented Henkels trademark on the left ricasso, with "ARTH. KRUPP" on the right. Thick full length tang, with stag grip panels and Damascus oval guard with slight turns at the front and rear. In a red leatherette case with white silk and red felt lining, a miniature pickelhaub helmet and 5 ribbons with silver panels and untranslated inscriptions.
