This hand-carved ornament was made of ivory and dates back to the 18th/19th century China. The elongated carving shows in the center a courtly scene with a lady and her two children. The figures are sheltered by bamboo on the right side. The upper area shows a landscape with a pagoda and a pine tree. The lower segment consists of floral curved ornaments. The fine open work décor as well as the beautiful patina ca be admired at all sides.



The ivory ornament is in good condition with only slight signs of age and wear. The height measures 13 cm.
