Good condition
This attractive mixed lot comprises a medallion and two brooches from around 1900. The medallion is made of ivory and it is monogrammed on the lid. There is a pendant on the top. The shell cameo from Vienna shows an antique-style woman’s portrait and has a 585 gold setting. The last item is a silver brooch with protective glass and hinged cover; it can also be worn as a pendant on a necklace; it shows remains of gilding.



The setting of the shell cameo is hallmarked ‘585’ and the Austrian horse’s head as well as the city letter ‘W’ for Vienna. All pieces are in good condition with slight age-related signs of wear; partial light surface scratches. The silver brooch shows slight discolouration on verso. The ivory medallion measures 6 x 4 cm (without pendant); the shell cameo measures 4 x 3 cm and the silver brooch measures 5 x 4 cm . The silver brooch wears 12.44 g.
