Featured in this lot we have an Iver Johnson top break double action revolver chambered in .32 caliber. This revolver was manufactured in the early 1900's and is from the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. This piece displays a longer 5" long round ribbed barrel, five shot cylinder, double action hammer and trigger system, and hard rubber grips. The top rib is stamped reading "IVER JOHNSON ARMS & CYCLE WORKS FITCHBURC, MASS U.S.A." with the bottom of the grips marked with the patent dates "JUNE 16. 96 AUS 25. 98 16.. 04 PATS PENDING" with some of the lettering worn off. mechanically this revolver shows a smooth action and crisp trigger with proper cylinder rotation and timing. The revolver displays a warm patina across the exterior and is in good condition overall for its age. This pistol weighs 14oz. Serial Number: 25042.
