#Q26358. Late second model, 1895 to 1908. Exposed hammer double-action revolver chambered in .38 S&W. Features a blued finish, 5" ribbed barrel, half moon blade front sight, notched rear sight, fluted five shot cylinder, smooth case hardened trigger, blued triggerguard, double top post barrel latch and fancy checkered black hard rubber grips with owl's head motif. (Facing front) Revolver exhibits approximately 30% of it's bright blue finish with handling wear to the straps, edge wear/scratches and scuffs with finish loss on the frame. Action performs well but the trigger does not return, needs to be pushed forward, star extractor works well, bore is fair, good rifling, some scattered patches of light pitting. Comes with period brown leather flap holster, the stitching on the rear seam has come loose.
