Ithaca model 4E, Flues 20ga side by side shotgun, factory 28” barrels, blue and case hardened finish, select checkered wood stocks with fancy patterns, double triggers, auto ejectors, serial number “192626”. The gun remains in fine to near excellent original condition with 95-98% original blue on barrel, just some slight toning and beginning natural age. The frame show 75-85% original case hardening, drifting at the bottom edges, but still beautiful rainbow colors showing over most of the frame. The frame is nicely engraved with hunting dogs on each side surrounded by fine scroll with game birds on bottom of frame and trigger guard. The trigger guard shows 90-95% original blue. The gold plated triggers show 80% rich gold gilt. The stocks are very good plus to near fine with sharp checkering in fancy fleur de lis patterns. There is some wear to the checkering on one edge, otherwise crisp. The action is tight, the bores are excellent, the gun has seen a little use and has been well cared for. The barrels are marked “Krupp Fluid Steel”. The stock is its full original length and measures approx. 14” from the trigger to the end of the original hard rubber buttplate. A high grade Ithaca in a desirable gauge and in immaculate condition. Est.: $5,000-$10,000
