Grade 2, signifying a higher quality finish and materials. Hammerless boxlock. Manufactured 1903. 30 inch barrels with fine Chain Damascus pattern and very good/ bright bores. Fitted with a matted concave rib. Water table is stamped with serial number, matched on forearm wood/metal and barrel. Lewis style action retains traces of case color and has the Grade 2 style engraving of game birds. Top lever, double triggers, sliding tang safety, single extractor, assembly number 2457 matched on the extractor and underneath it. The buttstock is correct but a replacement as it is smooth and the original is checkered, the lower tang screws are replacements and the butt pad is wood. There is a couple of slight dings in the left bore towards the muzzle. LOP is 14 3/4 to front trigger. Both bores measure Full.NRA Condition-Fair to Good. C&R Firearm.
