Manufactured from 1908 to 1926, within the serial number range of Flues Model production (175000 to 399000). Single brass bead front sight on the matte rib, with an engraved border line at each breech. Matching numbers on the forearm, forearm hardware, barrel, and frame. "1S/28" and "PAT'D" marked on the water table. 2 3/4 inch chambers, choked full/modified, with extractor. Each side of the action is engraved with a hunting dog and marked "ITHACA GUN CO. ITHACA N.Y." Casehardened box lock action with blue finished remaining parts, double triggers, tang mounted automatic safety and mounted with a checkered walnut splinter forearm and pistol grip stock with a checkered hard rubber grip cap and Ithaca buttplate. Length of pull is 14 1/4 inches.

Condition: Excellent. The barrels retain 97% original blue finish with some thinning to plum. The trigger guard retains 90% bright original blue finish with some thinning and a smooth gray on the balance. The action retains 75% original case colors with a smooth gray patina on the balance. The wood is also excellent with a few overall scattered minor dents and handling marks, and some light wear on the otherwise crisp checkering. The markings are clear. Mechanically excellent.
