Excellent. The barrels retain approximately 98% of the blue refinish, as shortened to the present length with some scattered minor thinning, more prominent near the muzzles. Some minor scratches along the barrels mostly near the breech on the left side. The barrels are cylinder choked. The receiver has aged to a smooth gray with scattered strong traces of the original faded, but vivid case colors in protected areas, bright under the break lever. The wood is excellent with a few scattered minor dings and handling marks, the checkering remains crisp, as freshened on the buttstock. Several dings exist on the trigger guard where it may have been slightly bent and possibly repaired with a small hammer. Most of the original blue remains on the trigger guard. Engraving and markings remain crisp and clear. Mechanics are excellent.
