Italian snaphaunce pistol, probably brescian, lock sign Lazerino, Cominazo, 19-1/2” overall, with 13” barrel showing typical Italian faceting and half octagon/half round canon-type muzzle. Approx. .52 calibersmoothbore, the pistol is stocked in good quality figured walnut and shows nicely chiseled lock with engraved triggerguard and buttcap. The metal surfaces show some light to slightly heavy scattered pitting anderosion with the heavier pitting occurring mostly at the breech area. The lock shows very nice chiseling and engraving, and is in good condition. The stock is also good with some small repairs and restoration that iswell done and hard to detect. There is some wear through on the bottom of the ramrod channel from carry. An original ramrod is included with matching iron-turned tip. In its original configuration. The sideplate ispierced and shows intertwined serpents. Est: $3,000 - $6,000
