Hinds, Mary Treen, and Ellen Corby; Contracts signed by Mary Treen, Sam Ash, Charles Halton, and Frank Capra; a 1994 It’s a Wonderful Life Calendar signed in black felt tip by all four ‘Bailey children’; three hardcover books: Mr. Cantonwine signed on the first free end page by Lionel Barrymore, Mountain Homespun signed on the titled page by Frances L. Goodrich, and Typo Tales and Verses signed and inscribed on the first free end page by Jo Swerling; a softcover copy of Salt of the Earth signed by Michael Wilson; and a Rhapsody of Steel album signed and inscribed by Dimitri Tiomkin. Accompanied by twelve unsigned movie stills; three unsigned copies of The Greatest Gift (1944, 1958 limited edition of 800, and 1996 editions), a 1919 copy of National Geographic Magazine, eight 1940s magazines with articles promoting the film, January 1945 Good Houskeeping magazine with a version of The Greatest Gift; and a 2008 Donruss ‘Americana’ trading card with two swatches of clothing, one each worn by Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed. Some of the items are inscribed. In overall very good to fine condition. A ‘wonderful’ collection from one of America’s most iconic holiday films.
