(Disneyland, 1965) An original concept painting created by Disney Legend Mary Blair for the "It's a Small World" attraction at Disneyland. This painting depicts Blair's stylized concept for the attraction's iconic facade. After the attraction's incredible success at the 1964-65 New York World's Fair, Walt wanted to bring the attraction to Disneyland as a permanent installation. The attraction needed a new facade for its installation at the Park, and Walt called on Blair, who also contributed heavily to the original World's Fair attraction, to design it. The painting is accomplished in acrylic on artist's board and measures 20"x15". In fine condition.
