<B>It! The Terror From Beyond Space (United Artists, 1958).</B></I> Poster (40" X 60"). This is one of the better low-budget science fiction films of the fifties and has Marshall Thompson playing a stranded astronaut on Mars whose comrades have all been killed. When the rescue ship arrives, they suspect Thompson of murder. Little do they know, but the murderer has stowed away on the ship. The culprit is "It," a space alien played by Ray Corrigan. This is a very rare silk screen poster of which few examples have survived. It has a photo montage piece of artwork pasted on to the upper right. It also has the sign painter's union seal stamped in the lower border; these were the people that did the silk screen work for the studios. The poster has left and right edge wear. There are a couple of tears in the upper border and some.
