It Came From Beneath the Sea (Columbia, 1955). One Shee It Came From Beneath the Sea (Columbia, 1955
It Came From Beneath the Sea (Columbia, 1955). One Sheet (27" X 41"). The first of many collaborations between producer Charles H. Schneer and special-effects wizard Ray Harryhausen, this film has a giant radioactive octopus attacking San Francisco. Because of the low budget, Harryhausen only had six arms on the octopus! (Would that make it a hexapus?) Starring sci-fi veterans Kenneth Tobey, Faith Domergue and Donald Curtis. This one sheet has a few pinholes in one corner, a small tear along one fold line, and light fold wear with cross fold separations. The poster has been mounted on linen mostly to stabilize it, and a bit of touchup has been done. It has a very clean appearance and looks almost new. Very Fine+ on Linen.
