It Came From Beneath the Sea (Columbia, 1955). Lobby Cards (4) (11" X 14"). A six-legged giant octopus gets a little too clingy with the Golden Gate Bridge and tries to take it back to the ocean floor. This doesn't sit well with stars Kenneth Tobey, Faith Domergue and Donald Curtis. This film is the first collaboration between producer Charles H. Schneer and special effects wiz Ray Harryhausen, a professional relationship that would last until Clash of the Titans in 1981. This set includes the highly sought after card featuring the creature attacking the Golden Gate Bridge, it has paper tape on back. All four cards have very minimal wear around the edges. One card featuring a shot of men in protective suits has multiple pinholes in the center and corners. The other three cards are free of pin holes and all four display exceptional color as well as great border art of the octopus attacking the bridge. Very Fine+.
