Overall near fine condition. <BR><BR>When <I>Pebble in the Sky</B></I> was published in 1950, Dr. Isaac Asimov (1920-1992) was a biochemist conducting cancer research at the Boston University School of Medicine. His first novel, <I>Pebble</B></I>, which deals with nuclear power and time travel, predated the publication of his famous <I>Foundation</B></I> in book form by one year.
