Original hand-inked three-panel Dondi daily comic strip, dated 1974 on an off-white 18.5 x 6.5 piece of artist’s cardstock. Strip depicts Dondi being trapped in a cellar during a house fire. Signed in black ink in the first panel, “Irwin Hasen.” A ‘reverse image’ of the character, in pencil, is visible on the reverse. Mild rippling, a few stray ink marks, and some ink bleeding, otherwise fine condition.
