Irving Berlin was without a doubt the greatest American songwriter . His volume of work of 100's of songs include some of the all time most beloved and iconic Americana ever created. Songs like "Blue Skies", "Cheek to Cheek", "Puttin' On the Ritz" , "God Bless America" , "White Christmas", "There's No Business Like Show Business", and "Heat Wave". Berlin continue to work until his death in 1989 at the age of 101! Two years after his death, the most famous legendary artists of American music got together for the largest tribute to a composer every mounted. It took place at the Music Box Theater in New York City on February 6th, 1990. This is the official program of this astonishing event, all personally autographed by most of the participates, including Tony Bennett, Sammy Cahn, Rosemary Clooney, Cy Coleman, Morton Gould, Kitty Carlisle Hart, Helen Hayes, Burton Lane, Dorothy Loudon, Mandy Patinkin, Jerome Robbins, David Brown and Jules Styne. Never has there been such a collection of autographs from such legendary group of composers, artists and producers, and all signed personally at the event on the official program. It includes a copy of the letter from Sammy Cahn to his nephew, Artie Kern who was the movie memorabilia consultant to the Song Writers Hall of Fame from 1980-1993.
