Stunning Rosewood firescreen made from solid rosewood, in Ireland, around 1835 in the reign of William 1V. In original condition the crisp carving on the stem, feet & frame is superb & has an old, polished patination. The printed tapestry panel is original as is the silk backing (slightly torn). A truly beautiful and original firescreen. Ideal for displaying a favorite tapestry.
