Bodenstedt --; Boston MFA --; Waggoner (Rosen Collection) --; Dewing --. Noticeable on the obverse are small breaks in the metal, probably mint-made. About Extremely Fine. .

The fabric and types suggest this hekte was struck at Phokaia (or Kyzikos), although the obverse type seems unpublished. A coin worthy of further study. The edge is folded, unlike any other hekte this cataloguer has seen, possibly even indicating a new mint for these diverse types .
Estimated Value $800 - 1,000.
