AR Tetradrachm &#40;16.50 g&#41;.</B> Diademed bust of Artemis right, quiver over shoulder <I>Reverse</I>: Nude Apollo standing left, elbow resting against tall tripod behind, holding branch tied with fillet in his right hand; magistrate&#39; name, EUPhEMOS PAUSANIOU at left, ethnic at right, maeander pattern below; all enclosed in a laurel wreath. Reverse a little off center. <B>NGC graded About Uncirculated.</B> <BR><BR>This virtually mint state example of Hellenistic art was probably found in the Kirikhan hoard unearthed around 1971-2. Sometimes called a stephanephoros or &#34;wreath-bearer,&#34; this denomination is so termed because of the large wreath encircling the reverse type.
