Invisible Stripes - William Holden (Warner Brothers, 1939). Publicity Still by George Hurrell (7.5" X 9.5"). Vintage black and white double weight glossy still. Lloyd Bacon, director of The Oklahoma Kid, took a shot on relative unknown William Holden for this gritty crime drama opposite George Raft and Humphrey Bogart. This was only Holden's second credited film role following a breakout performance in Golden Boy, This George Hurrell still, taken when Holden was only 21 years old, is classic Hurrell with deep shadows and creative backlighting. There is minor wear along the edges and small corner bumps. The reverse has stamps and writing in pen and pencil. Very Fine-. *****

Shipping: Flat Material, Small (view shipping information)
