Interview With The Vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac (Brad Pitt) SFX Vampire Contact Lenses Set
"Interview With The Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles" (1994), was an all star cast mega-hit feature based on Anne Rice's best selling novel (she also wrote the screenplay). Of course most vampires can prey in the night like any "normal" night owl, without detection, except for their fangs (when needed), and eyes, especially when angry or aroused. The eyes, in fact, play an integral part in the depiction of these creatures. These are star Brad Pitt's (playing Louis de Ponte du Lac) full set of specially crafted vampire contact lenses screen worn in the movie. The first set are known as his "touchstone" vampire contacts, and the more dramatic, known as the "killer" contacts, were worn when he showed sudden passion or overt emotion. They were hand-fitted to Mr. Pitt, and custom designed and hand-painted by Master Special Effects Make-Up Artist, and special effects contact lens expert, Andrea Le Vine. This set of four one-of-a-kind lenses come from Ms. Le Vine's personal collection, and include a Letter of Provenience from Ms. Le Vine. Each individual lenses is stored in its original saline bottle with the original label.
