Interesting modified U.S. Springfield Model 1898 Krag bolt-action carbine length, .30 cal., 22” barrel, blue finish, wood stock, #139373. This gun is in overall good condition showing the majority of a qualityre-blue with good barrel, action and markings. The barrel is a replacement marked “S.A.”, a flaming bomb proof and dated 11-18, appearing to be a barrel off a Springfield Model 1903; wood is overall good withscattered wear, nicks and mars from carry and storage along with circle P behind the trigger guard and 1901 dated inspector’s cartouche on the left side of the stock; may have been an early DCM made gun given thequality of the workmanship however, either way, DO NOT SHOOT until checked out by a competent gunsmith (as is the case in the purchase of any used gun). Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
