Interesting military uniform items including a dress hard brim hat with detachable rain cover, a soft cap, two shoulder boards, a leather dress belt with brass buckle and metal sword hanger all contained in a fancyleather Brooks Brothers luggage style case with outside protective canvas cover. The materials are circa 1950 and a tag in the case indicates the outfit belonged to a Mr. E.T. Brown, an apparent member of the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company of Massachusetts. All items are in overall very good condition and the lot is accompanied by a written history of the Company that includes the notation that “This is theoldest military company to be chartered in the entire Western Hemisphere, originally organized to protect the first American settlers at Plymouth Landing!”; would be interesting to further research Mr. Brown(who’s initials are inlaid on the lid of the Brooks Brothers case. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
