Interesting framed lot of mining documents and high art etchings carefully reproduced from the original plates by the American Bank Note Company in 1978, all in excellent condition. These reproduced pieces of artwork that were originallyissued in the mid-to-later 1900s are truly works of engraving art and include a Kansas Mining Co. Ten Dollar Note, originally issued when Kansas was still a Territory and showing scenes of miners in a tunnel, a Mountain man with long rifle andIndians hunting an American Bison; a Fifty Dollar Union Military scrip originally issued in the 1860s with artwork including an Indian brave chasing a buffalo. Also included are eight separate etching scenes including the YosemiteValley, a bull moose, a grizzly bear, Indian scenes and other Western theme vignettes. Est.: $75-$150.
