Interesting flintlock full-stocked musket, .75 cal., 44-1/2” round barrel marked “M1763” on the top barrel tang, wood stock, three barrel bands, one sling swivel, cone-tipped iron ramrod, iron butt plate. This gun is in overall worn but fair + condition showing an untouched heavy dark brown patina to all metal surfaces; the lock plate shows some worn markings that cannot be fully discernable, the bore is dark, the action good and the wood worn with a “club butt”, scattered nicks, mars and scratches from carry and storage, several old cracks and worn losses and what appears to be an old worn burn mark on the right side of the stock approx. mid-way between the back two barrel bands. Est.: $1,000-$2,000.
