Interesting early tooled leather valise approx. 15” wide X 9” deep X 6” in height with three straps and two buckles (one buckle missing) to secure the cover lid to the body of the valise in overall good condition for its age which we wouldestimate to be 1860’s – 1890’s. There are two leather handles on the sides of the valise and the interior is lined in a heavy linen material. There are no visible maker’s marks but the item is well-constructed; some stitching separation atthe rear of the cover lid. Est.: $200-$400.
