The 1st group of pictures shows Bakersfield, California with oil rigs and many other photographs of oil drilling in California. The party is traveling by train and early automobile with about 30 investors. Other photos of Colorado, Casper, Wyoming and the construction of pipelines in Bakersfield. Also photographs of the inspection of gold mines and mining equipment. Royal Gorge, Colorado, waterfalls near Colorado Springs, more photographs of Colorado and Wyoming and Busch Gardens in Pasadena 1913. The Grand Canyon in Arizona and several views of the investors party in Sutro Park, San Francisco, California and the last page shows R.P. Strong and Taylor Day on horseback in the Grand Canyon.
