Interesting Spanish or Mexican copy of a Smith & Wesson Second Model Russian Single Action Top Break revolver, .41 cal., 5” barrel, nickel finish, wood grips, #5931. This gun is in overall fair + condition showing approx. 40% original frosted nickel finish, confined primarily to the barrel assembly with the balance of the gun showing an old cleaning that has been done some time ago as the brown patina is returning to the frame and cylinder; the bore is dark, the action good and there is an authentic Mexican sunburst and “RM” stamping on the left side of the lower barrel assembly. The wood grips are worn butt complete. This south of the border piece has real character! Est.: $400-$800.
