Interesting Colt Model 1851 percussion revolver, .36 cal., 7-1/2” octagon barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood grips, #102363. This gun is in overall very good to fine condition showing traces of originalblue on barrel mixed with scattered light pitting and spots of erosion, strong traces of case colors on the frame, fair bore, crisp action, very good markings and fine grips. All visible serial numbers including thewedge and arbor are matching however, the cylinder is un-numbered and appears to be a correct Colt replacement cylinder with lots of cylinder scene and an area of pitting where the gun likely sat on some moisture.This gun is in an interesting serial number range and should be further researched. Est.: $1,500-$3,000.
