Interesting 9mm Luger Carbine by DWM, 1920 style, serial #6512. Showing 12” barrel, detachable shoulder stock, with post WWI German proofs from Weimar republic on receiver. The pistol shows a 3-stagegraduated rear sight, export markings “Germany” on left side of frame and beneath center portion of barrel. The pistol shows an old refinish and the stock and forend are well made replacements. The extension bar, which affixes through the triggerguard, is numbered 6512. The forend is secured by a swivel. Stock is unnumbered and shows a correct type lug and an old rubber buttplate with small size European swivel and is thecorrect pattern checkering. The condition is good to very good as restored. Martz and several other contemporary makers have made Luger carbines but generally not in the 1920 style. It is our opinion that this is arestored 1920 carbine using newer grips and refinishing. In any case, an attractive Luger. Est: $1,750 - $3,500
