Early piece by Navajo artist Thomas (Tommy) Singer. Thomas singer is known throughout the world for his jewelry work. He became famous in the 1960's for inventing the use of turquoise and coral chips for inlaying in silver. This is an early piece since years later, Thomas quit making the chip inlay pieces and went on to other types of jewelry. The necklace measures 16" and is hallmarked with an early hallmark of "T" with a crescent moon.
