Vintage glossy 9.5 x 7.5 photo of the Johansson brothers passing through customs in Detroit, with a police escort including police officer, and noted area collector, Louis Schlosser, as well as industrialist Gustav von Reis, signed in fountain pen by both Ingemar and Rolf Johansson, as well as by von Reis and Schlosser. A newspaper clipping from the front page of the September 22, 1959, Detroit Times is affixed to the reverse, bearing a photo and story of the brothers’ arrival in the city. In fine condition, with lightly trimmed edges, and some light bends and ripples from adhesive on reverse.
