REAU, LOUIS, DENIS ROCHE, V. SVIETLOV, and A. TESSIER. Ineditated Works of Bakst. New York: Brentano's, 1927. No. 36 of Limited Edition of 600. Folio (13 1/4in x 10 1/4in). Cream paper-covered boards, with dust jacket. 30 mostly colored plates with numbered/titled tissue guards, and additional tipped-in color illustrations. Micaela Martinez's signature and Piedmont, California address on free endpaper (with later inscription to her daughter, Jeanne). Condition: The dust jacket with tears/losses and tape repairs, and it has been covered with a clear plastic sheet, taped on inside of covers. There is extensive internal splitting at several places, and signatures are loose/nearly detached. Toning and scattered soiling and spotting. Some creases to tipped-in illustrations/plates. Tape marks facing title page. Some small page edge/corner tears. A Bakst illustration clipped from a 1923 gallery catalog taped to colophon page, detached/tape remnants. Together with a color-illustrated article on Bakst, International Studio Magazine, 1923.
