19th Century khanjar dagger measuring 17 inches overall. Equipped with a 13 inch curved blade, with a wide spine leading to the thicker mail piercing point, a small filed accent behind the 4 1/4 inch false edge, and a 2 inch wedge of silver koftgari vinework on the ricassos. Brass reinforced iron hilt, with a mother of pearl accent button on each side and extensive scroll and floral silver koftgari. With a russet leather covered sheath. Fair. Some pitting is visible on the blade, concentrated on the tip, along with edge dings, spotting and a mixed gray patina. The hilt is good, with a few thin cracks near the top and light dents. Over 85% of the original silver remains, with most loss on the blade. The scabbard is fair, with material loss and opening of the back seam near the tip.
