Very fine. The revolver retains 70% plus original blue finish with some muzzle and high edge wear, some thinning to a smooth gray patina on the outer edge of the ejector housing and smooth brown patina on the grip straps. There are some minor scratches and drag lines on the cylinder, as well as some minor pitting. The front sight had a bead added during period of usage along with the sight slot having been notched. The frame retains 75% original case colors with a small area of minor pitting on the recoil shield. The hammer retains 90% original bright case colors. The grips are excellent with a few minor dings and handling marks, with crisp checkering. The markings are clear. The action is excellent.
