<B>Robert Indiana and Robert Creeley <I>Numbers</B></I></B></I> (Stuttgart: Edition Domberger, 1968), first edition limited to 2500 copies, not paginated, 4to (8.5" x 10"), bound in stiff paper wraps and containing ten paintings by Robert Creeley, in slip case. In 1965 Creeley dedicated his number paintings of Indiana who in turn developed verse to illuminate the characteristics of the numbers. The book is in very good condition, the slip case has frayed corners, some uniform sun fading and is in good condition. There is a pencil outline of a hand on the front free endpaper upon which is a gift inscription to a former owner dated 1971.
