Descent within the family to the present owner. Walter Bennett was president of Acme Brick and from a pioneering Fort Worth Texas family. According to Bennett’s grandson, the present offering was acquired in the 1920’s when Bennett and his wife Edith Evens and their three children made their annual visit to Santa Fe and Taos.
