Indians Wars Period Ceremonial War Axe. Measures approximately 39x8x1 inches. It has three carbon steel trade knives blades 6x1 inch inset in the upper portion of the weapon. Wood appears to be oak with vegetal green stain. Blades are riveted with copper studs. Upper portion decorated with eight one inch file burn marks. There are four quilled horse hair drops. The lower portion is decorated with two drops one consisting of early bronze thimbles and colored silk ribbons. The other drop consisting of ermine fur and five small bronze bells. This is a lethal weapon must be 18 years old to purchase. Very Good. Blades have some rust. Some ribbons are faded and frayed on the ends. Shipping $25.00
