Pre-Stamp Cover, India Unpaid, 24th May 1862, Bombay to Paris, dispatched by FORBES & Co Bombay. This Blue cover traveled from Bombay to Paris (France) Via Southampton, United Kingdom. The front side of the cover bears a Black rectangle seal marking “INDIAUNPAID”, a Black lozenge-shaped seal marking “GB | 1F.624 10C” & a Red ink circular seal that cites “POSS.ANG.V SUEZ | MARSEILLES | 20 JUIN 62” company’s seal in Red in the back of the cover cites “FORWARDED | FORBES & CO. | BOMBAY”, a Red ink circular dispatch seal “1M | BOMBAY | MY 24 | 62” & Black ink two delivery seals “PARIS | 24 | JUIN | 62 | (3) (5)”, very good condition, Rare.
