Copper Cash, 3.13g, Obv: Goddess seated cross legged carrying indistinct attributes, Rev: Devnagari legend “U la / Too ra उ ळ / टु र” in two lines (Not listed in major publications). Very fine, very rare.
Ulatoor or Utaloor was a prominent pass (Ghat) into Tondaimandalam region linking Tamil uplands with the Kaveri valley. It is not certain who issued coins here but the most likely contenders are the Marathas of Thanjavur.
