Yates was a member of the NY Provincial Congress, chairman of the Albany Committee of Correspondence and a delegate to the Congress of the Confederation. The document serves as an indenture between Elisabeth Helling and Janetie[?] Bratt. Helling grants Bratt a tract of land in “Manner Renslaar in the County of Albany” for the sum of ten shillings.
