<B>"The Incredible Shrinking Man" Richard Matheson Signed Sequel Agreement.</B></I> A three-page agreement between Universal Pictures and sci-fi author Richard Matheson, dated June 11, 1956, engaging his services as a a writer for a screenplay for a sequel to <I>The Incredible Shrinking Man</B></I> (1957), signed on the front page by Matheson in blue ink. Matheson wrote both the original novel and the screenplay for the classic sci-fi flick, but the direct sequel ultimately went unproduced.
