Inception (2010) - Bullet-Ridden Trunk Lid From Taxi (Pin-Gag Version).
Original production used bullet-ridden trunk lid that was part of the taxi used in the Christopher Nolan directed science fiction action film "Inception" (2010), where a thief who steals corporate secrets through the use of dream-sharing technology is given the inverse task of planting an idea into the mind of a CEO. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ellen Page, Tom Hardy and Michael Caine. It won four Academy Awards for Best Cinematography, Best Sound Editing, Best Sound Mixing, and Best Visual Effects, and was nominated for four more: Best Picture, Best Original Screenplay, Best Art Direction, and Best Original Score.
Made of vacuform plastic, this trunk lid version was used in the famous Taxi shoot out stunt scene where the bad guy got trapped between two cars so not to hurt the actor.
