(Columbia Pictures, 1993) This prop improvised gun was custom-made by the production for use by John Malkovich as "Mitch Leary" in his attempt to assassinate the President. The gun is constructed entirely of resin and features two spring-loaded sliders along the top of the chamber. It was designed and built by weapons technician Frank Rousseau, and was designed to be (and still can be) completely broken down into its component parts consisting of two connecting barrel pieces, screw rod and pistol grip. The gun has minor wear from use and measures 6" x 4" x 1.25".
