A) Manufactured circa 1878 to 1912. The top of the barrel is marked with the one line address and the matching serial number is marked on the butt. Rear cylinder face, barrel latch and barrel. The rear cylinder face is marked with a "star/F" and crown over an oval "E/LG/star" proofmarks. The bottom of the barrel lug is marked with a "star/F", "C" in an oval and "crown/R". Pinned blade front and adjustable rear target sights, blue finish with casehardened hammer and finger spur trigger guard, niter blue trigger and fitted with smooth pearl grips with S&W medallions. Commonly observed on Russian Models this revolver features a special oder finger spur. The revolver is complete in a leather wrapped hard case with fitted green felt lining which contains both revolvers. There are holes for 12 cartridges in the upper right hand corner and 6 in the lower left corner.

Condition: Very fine. The revolver retains 90% plus original high polish blue finish with some minor muzzle and edge wear. The hammer retains 98% original bright case colors and the trigger guard retains 60% original case colors, with a smooth gray patina on the balance. Most of the original bright niter blue finish remains on the trigger. The grips are excellent. The case is very good plus.
- B) Manufactured from 1896 to 1903, this was Smith & Wessons first swing-out cylinder revolver. The cylinder is marked with the patent information on each flat, the large S&W logo is on the right side of the frame and the serial number is marked on the butt. Pinned half moon front, fixed notch rear sights, blue finish with casehardened hammer and trigger, and fitted with smooth pearl grips with S&W medallions. In case with "A"

Condition: Excellent. The revolver retains 98% original blue finish with some minor muzzle and edge wear, a drag line on the cylinder and some thinning on the back strap. 98% original bright case colors remain on the hammer and the trigger shows half of the original case colors. The grips are excellent. The markings are clear. The action is excellent. An excellent and attractive rarely observed set of high condition S&W revolvers.
