Important original hand written Memorandum of Agreement between Colts Patent fire Arms Manufacturing Co. and Charles Caesar of Brooklyn for Caesar to act on behalf of Colt in Europe as an agent for the sale of firearms thru famous Colt agent in England, Baron F. Von Oppen and confirms Mr. Caesar will limit his sales to the European continent and stay out of Von Oppen’s sales territory. The agreement is approx. 12” x 8” and is two pages with Colt’s seal and signed by W.B. Franklin, Colt Vice-President and General Agent; dated July 10, 1866. In overall very good condition.
